Pallet strap upcycling

Pallet straps are made of plastic polymers polyethylene terephthalate (PET, #1 plastic) or polypropylene (PP, #5 plastic) and are usually discarded into landfill after they are used for securing one shipment of boxes or pallets. Instead, these materials can be given a second useful life, woven into baskets, organizer trays, lampshades, and other useful beautiful household objects.
